Two friends, Françoise (Myriam Boyer) and Blandine (Nathalie Guérin) work for a predatory and devious bailiff. One day, when leaving the office, Blandine is accosted by Bob (Jean Mirmont), a charming ambulance driver whom she brings home. The next morning, Paul, a friend, also arrives. But the rapacious bailiff wants to send a batch of diamonds to Switzerland and it is Paul who must transmit the "goods" to a trained smuggler: Mr. Charles (Michel Galabru).
