巴西国家纪录片SilverDaisy奖。TheBestBrazilianFeatureawardwasgiventotwofilms:thesemi-documentarySerrasdaDesordem(literally,"HillsofDisorder")andthesocialdramaAnjosdoSol/AngelsoftheSun.DirectedbyAndreaTonacci,SerrasdaDesordemfollowsanomadIndianwho,aftersurvivinganattackbylocallandowners,spendstenyearsroamingthehillsoftheBrazilianmid-west.TonaccialsotookhometheBestDirectoraward.FilmmakerAndreaTonacciblendsdocumentaryelementswithexpressivevisualstorytellinginthisstudyofthenativepeoplesofBrazilinthe21stcentury.CarapiruisamemberofoneofBrazil'sremainingIndiantribes,livinginharmonywithnatureandmakingwiseuseofthelocalfloraandfauna.ButCarapiruissuddenlyforcedtofendforhimselfunderunfamiliarcircumstanceswhenanunexpectedattackleavestherestofhisfamilydeadandtheirvillagedestroyed.Carapirufleesintothenearbyrainforest,andbuildsanewlifeforhimselfwiththehelpsomesympatheticsettlers.However,afterrebuildinghislifeCarapiruisuprootedonceagainwhenwell-meaninggovernmentagentsrelocatehimtothevillagehewasforcedtoabandononthepromisethatithasbeenrestoredtoitspristinestate.CarapirúisanomadicBrazilianwhoescapesfromanattackconductedbyfarmersagainsthisvillage.For10yearshewanderstheBraziliansierrasaloneuntilheiscaptured2000kmfromhishomeandbroughttoBrasilia.There,heisreunitedwithhisson,whotakeshisfatherbacktotheirvillage.However,afteryearsofinteractionwithcontemporaryurbancentresofBrazil,Carapirúfindsitdifficulttoreconnectwithhisnomadiclifestyle.
