剧情简介

The film follows the relationship between two young adults (20 years old). The young man is aware that his girlfriend works as a prostitute to support herself and her grandmother, and to have plans together for a better life. Short film banned by Vietnamese censors in Hanoi, screened at the 65th Venice Film Festival: Vietnamese authorities said the 20-minute film, made more than two years ago, could damage Vietnam`s image and banned it from screens at home and abroad. "The young woman`s image, lifestyle and activities run counter to Vietnamese customs, traditions and way of life," Le Ngoc Minh of the Vietnamese Department of Cinema. However the authorities recognised the film`s technical value and allowed it to be viewed by cinema professionals and students.
