Dramatic reconstruction, 3D animation and aerial photography combine to bring the history to life, including Mongol raids, rampart battles and the rebuilding of lost sections Episode 3 The Acropolis One of the most awe-inspiring architectural sites of ancient Greece - the Acropolis. Created at a time when Athenian culture was at its zenith, the structure comprised four main buildings, notably the Parthenon, whose geometrical perfection made it one of the most influential buildings in the history of Western civilisation.
